Guest Services Manager Job Opportunity

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Guest Services Manager to lead our hotel team. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, be able to problem solve, and possess strong people skills.

This is a hands-on role that requires the ability to jump into different areas of the hotel, including Front Office, Distrikt Cafe, and room service. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless daily operations, motivating and inspiring your team, and providing exceptional guest service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in overseeing daily hotel operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Lead and motivate the hotel team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Contribute to cafe and restaurant operations, including service, food preparation, and coffee making.
  • Maintain a visible management presence during busy times, ensuring the lobby and front desk area remain organized and welcoming.
  • Provide personal assistance to guests during check-in and check-out, resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Address guest challenges with positivity and tact, turning complaints into win-win solutions.
  • Take charge when senior managers are absent, leading by example and demonstrating exceptional leadership skills.
  • Collaborate with Housekeeping and Maintenance teams to ensure rooms are spotless and systems are running smoothly.
  • Remain calm under pressure and respond effectively in emergency situations.
Requirements
  • Proven leadership experience, with a natural ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Strong background in Front Office, Guest Services, or F&B leadership (or all three).
  • Supervisory and monitoring skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest service.
  • Flexibility and willingness to jump into cafe and restaurant operations as needed.
  • Calm and quick-thinking, with a solution-focused approach to challenges.
  • Professional yet approachable demeanor, with the ability to build rapport with guests.
  • Organized and proactive, with flexibility regarding rosters and working hours.
  • Experience with hotel systems, particularly Opera knowledge.
