Job Title: Senior Legal Counsel

We are seeking a skilled legal professional to join our team as a mid to senior level lawyer. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in the financial services sector, particularly with specialized knowledge of supporting large tenders, procurement and technology.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with business leaders as a trusted legal advisor to drive strategic initiatives in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment. They will contribute to major projects and transactions, including regulatory changes and risk management responses.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert legal advice and support to various business units, senior executives, and stakeholders on a range of complex matters.
  • Support tendering, procurement, and technology-related legal needs within the banking and financial services sector.
Key Requirements:
  • A law degree and admission to practice in Australia.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the banking and financial services industry (private practice or in-house).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
