As a Housing Officer, you will play a vital role in providing tenancy management services to public housing rental properties. This position is part of a team within a regional office and involves working closely with customers, including Aboriginal customers, to provide information, referral, advocacy, and tenancy management services.

The ideal candidate will possess initiative, self-confidence, and strong interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to manage confidential information sensitively and use customer information systems competently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing customers with information, referral, and advocacy services
  • Managing tenancies of public housing rental properties
  • Identifying and responding to individual needs of diverse customer base
  • Maintaining accurate records and using customer information systems

In order to be successful in this role, you must satisfactorily complete a National Police Clearance and DHS Screening Unit Working with Children Check prior to being employed. You are also required to hold a current Australian issued Driver's Licence, which must be maintained.
