Early Childhood Educator Role

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Goodstart Leeton.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality education and care to children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. They will work collaboratively with Senior Educators and the Educational Leader to develop and implement learning programs that cater to the needs of all children.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To provide education and care services that meet the individual needs of each child.
  • To contribute to the development of a safe and inclusive environment for all children, families, and staff members.
  • To maintain open communication with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's daily activities, meals, rest times, and any issues that may arise.
  • To participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
  • To contribute to the overall well-being of the centre by participating in events, activities, and community engagement.

Key Requirements:

  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA approved equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
  • Current NSW Working with Children Check.
