Job Opportunity: Religious Education Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Religious Education Coordinator to join our school community.

In this senior leadership role, you will support the Principal in implementing the mission and vision of the school, and growing faith and learning for students.

The successful candidate will lead and coordinate learning and teaching in Religious Education, share in leadership of Catholic Life, Education and Mission, and advance the evangelising mission of Catholic schools within the Diocese of Wagga Wagga.

This role requires recent school or system leadership experience, strong communication skills, knowledge of teaching, curriculum and assessment practices, and a high level of relational skills.

The ideal candidate will have postgraduate academic qualifications in addition to initial teacher training, NESA Accreditation at Proficient Status or beyond, and current accreditation for Senior Leadership in a Catholic School (Category E) or working towards Accreditation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate learning and teaching in Religious Education
  • Share in leadership of Catholic Life, Education and Mission
  • Advance the evangelising mission of Catholic schools within the Diocese of Wagga Wagga
