We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Construction Trainer to join our team at Acknowledge Education. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for the development, improvement, and delivery of civil construction units for both Diploma and Advanced Diploma programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver High-Quality Training: Provide engaging and effective instruction based on curriculum requirements and ensure high standards of teaching.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Record student attendance and progress accurately, following College policies and procedures.
  • Ensure Effective Learning: Monitor classroom learning outcomes, provide feedback, and support students' educational development.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with industry standards and maintain up-to-date qualifications, actively participating in professional development opportunities.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Adhere to the Code of Conduct, report incidents, manage OH&S matters, and contribute to meetings and other relevant activities.

About You

  • You hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment Education and a Bachelor's degree in the civil/construction field as a minimum qualification.
  • You have a civil construction industry background of at least 2 years.
  • You are understanding and supportive of students' diverse needs and learning paces.
  • You have experience working with international students in the delivery and assessment of vocational education and training.
  • You are proficient in the use of learning management systems (Moodle) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • You hold a Working with Children Check.
