Job Description:

Talent International is seeking a skilled Civil Project Engineer to contribute to the success of renewable energy projects in regional Victoria and New South Wales.

The role will work closely with electrical engineers to provide insight and guidance on the civil aspects of the project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily construction activities to ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Implement and monitor the project program in respect to engineering services.
  • Create, monitor, and control project schedules.
  • Plan and implement site establishment activities, ensuring compliance with site-specific and contract requirements.
  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate potential risks, maintaining a risk register and initiating corrective actions as needed.
  • Manage changes to scope, deliverables, schedules, and budgets.
  • Analyze variances, trends, risks, and opportunities, and highlight significant operational performance issues to management.
Key Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related field are essential.
  • Practical knowledge in investigation, design, and construction of civil works.
  • Well-developed communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal).
  • Ability to develop and maintain a safe workplace and environment for employees, contractors, and visitors.
  • Personal flexibility to operate in a dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to commit to a DIDO or FIFO roster.
