Caregiver Opportunities with HammondCare

HammondCare is seeking dedicated and compassionate caregivers to provide essential support to our clients across the Central Coast region. As a caregiver with HammondCare, you will play a vital role in helping older individuals live independently in their homes and improving their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care, including assistance with showering and dressing
- Help with household tasks, such as meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Offer transportation to appointments and assist with shopping
- Assist with medication management
- Relate well to people and possess a patient, solutions-focused approach
- Previous experience in aged or community care is an asset, or you may be looking to start your career in aged care
- Hold a valid Driver's Licence and have access to an insured, reliable vehicle (minimum Third Party Property Insurance)
- A Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support is preferred, but not required; HammondCare can provide training and support for those who wish to pursue this qualification
- Be flexible and able to adapt to the changing needs of our home care clients
- $29.56 to $32.45 per hour, plus 99c/km and paid travel time
- Full training and support provided to all caregivers
- Secure employment on a 14-day permanent part-time roster
- Salary packaging up to $15,900 tax-free
- Fitness Passport membership
- First Aid Certificate provided and paid for by HammondCare
- Paid Certificate III in Aged Care training available for those who wish to progress
