About The Role

HammondCare regards this role as key in the delivery of relationship-based care which seeks to understand and value every individual as a whole person.

Reporting to the Pastoral Care Manager you will utilise and share your pastoral expertise, coaching staff, and volunteers to support the emotional and spiritual needs and goals of clients, their families, and staff.

This is a permanent part-time role based at our residential site in Erina working 3 days per week (22.8 hours pw) Wednesday – Friday.

About you

Strong understanding and experience of people living with dementia, the impact on carers, and journeys of grief and bereavement Strong personal and active Christian faith and church involvement Theological /Pastoral Care qualifications and experience Demonstrated capacity to pastorally care for and enhance the wellbeing of those in need Highly developed communication skills including listening, compassion and empathy Experience raising up, leading and supporting a team Strong administrative and computer skills
