Leading Mathematics and Science Educator for a Dynamic Secondary School

St Francis Catholic College is a co-educational, multi-campus secondary school known for its innovative learning and wellbeing programs. We are seeking a dynamic Mathematics and Science Teacher to join our Cobblebank Campus in 2025.
About the RoleThis exciting opportunity requires a passionate educator with strong interpersonal skills, highly developed communication and planning abilities, and expertise in Teaching and Learning. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor of Education or relevant tertiary qualification, a strong commitment to Catholic education, and the ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities- The ideal candidate will relate effectively to staff, students, parents, and guardians, as well as College support groups and members of the community.
- They will be responsible for developing and implementing best practice in the management of people and resources.
- Building capacity in others is also a key aspect of this role.
- A Bachelor of Education or relevant tertiary qualification is essential.
- A strong commitment to Catholic education is required.
- The successful candidate must be able to develop and maintain professional relationships.
- Creativity in creating an engaging learning environment is also desired.
- Eagerness to learn and implement a differentiated curriculum is preferred.
- The ideal candidate should understand and commit to providing a safe environment for children.
- Victorian Institute of Teaching registration is mandatory.
- Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school is preferred.
