Facilities Coordinator Role

Cochlear, a global leader in hearing solutions, is seeking a facilities coordinator to maintain a quality work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to internal requests, prioritizing and resolving issues quickly.
  • Supervise maintenance contractors to ensure a high-level working environment.
  • Conduct routine building inspections to identify and address needed repairs and maintenance.
  • Develop and coordinate small capital works projects, including electrical installs, medical gas, plumbing, and AV installations.
  • Monitor and administer the Building Management System (BMS) to provide a comfortable working environment.
  • Participate in the "on call" roster system, providing 24/7 response for alarms and emergency situations.
  • Perform hands-on maintenance tasks, such as moving furniture, setting up training rooms, and addressing minor repairs.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in facilities management.
  • High computer literacy.
  • Ability to work in multiple sites.
Desired Skills
  • Experience in WHS committees.
  • Electrical experience and clean room or medical manufacturing environments.
  • Project Management skills.
  • GMP experience.
  • Knowledge of multiple building management systems.
  • Ability to work in a mission-led organization that helps transform hearing loss understanding and treatment.
