Leading Facilities Expert

Cochlear, a global leader in hearing solutions, is seeking a facilities coordinator to maintain a quality work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to internal requests, prioritizing and resolving issues quickly.
- Supervise maintenance contractors to ensure a high-level working environment.
- Conduct routine building inspections to identify and address needed repairs and maintenance.
- Develop and coordinate small capital works projects, including electrical installs, medical gas, plumbing, and AV installations.
- Monitor and administer the Building Management System (BMS) to provide a comfortable working environment.
- Participate in the "on call" roster system, providing 24/7 response for alarms and emergency situations.
- Perform hands-on maintenance tasks, such as moving furniture, setting up training rooms, and addressing minor repairs.
- 5+ years of experience in facilities management.
- High computer literacy.
- Ability to work in multiple sites.
- Experience in WHS committees.
- Electrical experience and clean room or medical manufacturing environments.
- Project Management skills.
- GMP experience.
- Knowledge of multiple building management systems.
- Ability to work in a mission-led organization that helps transform hearing loss understanding and treatment.
