Education Specialist

Job Description:

As an Education Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality educational programs to students. You will engage with students, improve their outcomes through effective teaching practices, and focus on planning, preparation, and teaching of programs to achieve specific student outcomes.

You will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of relevant curriculum, including literacy and numeracy skills, and experience in responding to student learning needs. You will also need to show expertise in planning and implementing high-impact teaching strategies, as well as monitoring and assessing student learning.

Collaboration is key to this role. You will work closely with colleagues and the broader school community to support student agency, wellbeing, and engagement. You will reflect on your practice and engage in professional learning to continually improve the quality of teaching.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement educational programs that cater to diverse student needs.
  • Engage students in learning and improve their outcomes through effective teaching practices.
  • Monitor and assess student learning, making adjustments to instructional strategies as needed.
