About This Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality medical care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Care: Assessing residents' health conditions, monitoring vital signs, and managing medications and treatments.
- Wound Management: Managing and dressing wounds, preventing infections, and promoting proper wound healing.
- Health Care Planning: Developing and implementing individualized care plans based on residents' specific needs and medical conditions.
- Assessment and Documentation: Conducting thorough health assessments, maintaining accurate medical records, and documenting changes in residents' health conditions.
- Pain Management: Addressing pain concerns and implementing pain management strategies.
- Emergency Response: Being prepared to handle medical emergencies and coordinating the response as necessary.
- End-of-Life Care: Providing comfort and support during end-of-life care, including palliative care.
Skills and Qualifications
- A current AHPRA Registration.
- Knowledge of Aged Care accreditation standards.
- Adaptable, passionate, and willingness to learn.
- Collaborative and skilled at teamwork.
- Friendly and effective communication abilities.
