Academic Program Lead

At our institution, we strive to develop a positive culture across the school community that draws links between teaching and learning and improved learning outcomes.

A Subject Coordinator is responsible for leading the scope and sequence of the academic program and providing expert advice to teachers within their area of responsibility. They must possess knowledge of contemporary teaching and learning practices and extensive experience within their area.

The ideal candidate will guide the delivery of a relevant, stimulating, and effective teaching program while promoting a safe, challenging, and inspirational environment.

This role requires a model teacher who has demonstrated consistent and innovative teaching practice and can initiate and lead activities that focus on improving educational outcomes and opportunities for all students.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of the academic program in their subject area
  • Provide expert advice and support to teachers within their area of responsibility
  • Develop and maintain curriculum documents and resources
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress and achievement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Education degree or higher
  • Current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching

This is an ongoing (1.0 FTE) position commencing 27 January 2026 and concluding 19 January 2029. The position is based at our Donnybrook campus with a leadership allowance at level 2 and a 0.15 time release.
