Job Opportunity: Facilities Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive facilities professional to lead the day-to-day operations of our facilities team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate Daily Tasks: Oversee the daily tasks and schedules for the facilities and grounds team, ensuring efficient workflow and minimal disruption to college life.
  • Supervise Contractors: Manage contractors and ensure compliance with WHS standards, conducting risk assessments as necessary.
  • Schedule Works: Collaborate with the Business Manager and facilities team to schedule works across the college, aligning with strategic and operational plans.
  • Maintenance Management: Manage maintenance schedules and oversee asset upkeep, optimizing resource allocation and minimizing downtime.
  • Contribute to Strategic Planning: Review legislation, regulations, initiatives, and policies, providing recommendations to support the school's strategic objectives.
Requirements:
  • Facility Management Experience: Demonstrated knowledge and experience in facility and grounds management, including project coordination and WHS compliance.
  • Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage projects and coordinate daily tasks, ensuring timely completion and high-quality outcomes.
  • WHS Qualifications: Work health and safety qualifications preferred, or willingness to undertake training in this area.
  • Team Coordination: Experience in coordinating daily tasks and monitoring workloads for a team, promoting effective collaboration and communication.
