Job Title: Facilities Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled facilities manager to provide key services and support to our research groups. The role involves managing the central store, assisting with building and facility maintenance, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring the smooth operation of our research facilities.

  • Manage central store services, including goods receipt, dispatch, and laboratory supplies, in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
  • Assist with building and facility maintenance, contractor liaison, and emergency after-hours support to ensure timely resolution of issues and minimize disruptions.
  • Ensure compliance with WHS standards, environmental regulations, and high-quality service delivery to maintain a safe and healthy working environment.

About You:

  • Current 'C' class driver's licence
  • Forklift or trade qualifications advantageous
  • Experience in facility or store operations, preferably in a government, university, or hospital research environment
  • Reliable, hands-on, and flexible individual with strong operational and maintenance skills
  • Computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Outlook and Access

  • Skilled and experienced facilities manager
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to respond to changing circumstances and priorities
