About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to take on a key role in our internal audit and risk management consulting services. As a Senior Risk Consultant, you will be responsible for conducting internal audits, controls assurance, and risk management consulting engagements while providing high-quality client service.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conducting internal audits, controls assurance, and risk management consulting engagements simultaneously with numerous engagement team members;
  • Assisting in the planning of client deliverables (i.e., strategic internal audit plan, scope documents);
  • Executing fieldwork and documenting findings (i.e., maintaining the audit file);
  • Identifying findings and issues, and assisting in drafting client reports;
  • Coordinating with other divisions and undertaking development of team members;
  • Managing and coordinating the internal audit team, including training, mentoring, and methodology compliance;

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary degree and/or qualification;
  • 2-3 years of professional practice experience;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team;
  • Knowledge and application of practice development skills;
