Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Drafter to join our team, where you will be responsible for creating detailed 2D and 3D models of conveyor components and frames using Autodesk Inventor. Your drawings will directly impact how products are built and used in the field, making every project a unique opportunity to showcase your talents.

The Role Offers:

  • Create and maintain accurate 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings of conveyor components and frames
  • Review and improve drawing templates, documentation standards and drafting processes to support production efficiency and quality
  • Produce layout assemblies, detailed parts, and bills of materials in line with company standards
  • Support development of jigs, fixtures and assembly layouts and document any changes for production and support product validation activities
  • Provide drafting support for customer proposals and clarify specifications with engineering and sales as needed

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A Trade Certificate, Diploma or Associate Diploma in Mechanical Drafting, Engineering Design or similar
  • Experience in mechanical drafting, ideally in a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Proficient with Autodesk Inventor for 3D modelling and 2D detailing
