About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Advanced IT Systems Engineer, reporting directly to the IT Infrastructure Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to design, build, and manage Sigma's IT systems and network, ensuring they meet the company's needs.

You will work closely with the infrastructure team to set strategic goals and operational objectives, providing Level 2 and 3 support to deliver exceptional IT systems & network management excellence. Additionally, you will be responsible for controlling and managing projects that impact Sigma's IT landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Sigma's IT infrastructure (Windows, Network, Cloud) across on-premises data centres and cloud environments
  • Plan, design, implement, support, and maintain hybrid cloud platforms and associated services
  • Provide remote and onsite support for warehouse and office networks
  • Perform troubleshooting of network, server, and storage infrastructure
  • Respond to incidents and assigned problems to meet SLA requirements
  • Monitor and review daily logs, creating incident tasks where necessary
What We're Looking For

We require a highly skilled individual with a minimum of 3 years' experience in an IT infrastructure engineer role. You should possess strong expertise in infrastructure, cloud, and Wintel technologies, including:

  • Windows Server Operating Systems
  • Cisco Networking Technologies
  • Windows technology services such as DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange Hybrid, etc.
  • LAN, WAN, and SD-WAN deployment/maintenance knowledge
