This is an excellent opportunity to become a social companion for seniors in the community. Our program connects caring individuals like you with seniors who need companionship and support.

The Role
  • Visit seniors in their own homes and engage in friendly conversation, sharing stories and experiences.
  • Accompany seniors to local events and outings, providing reliable and safe transport.
  • Help seniors connect with their community by sharing interests and hobbies.

We are looking for volunteers who are:

  • Able and willing to travel to clients in the community or their homes.
  • Energised by interacting and engaging with people.
  • Natural curiosity and appetite for learning.
  • Compassionate, patient, observant, and a good listener.
  • Friendly and cheerful volunteer spirit.
  • Flexible availability over a three to six-month commitment.

Please note that all volunteers will be required to undergo a free national police check and provide valid evidence of Covid vaccinations.
