
Employee Relations Specialist

The Senior Employee Relations Advisor will provide support to leaders and team members with complex ER matters, investigating grievances, and delivering employee relations insights to drive strategic business decisions.
This role involves:
- Coaching and developing team members.
- Maintaining relationships with stakeholders and other teams to plan and execute ongoing services.
- Delivering operational employee relations case management and investigation services across several regions.
- Representing the organization in matters before the Fair Work Commission and other tribunals.
- Supporting the business with industrial disputes and issues outside of bargaining processes.
Key Requirements:
- Extensive experience in HR or ER (5+ years) with demonstrable experience in managing complex HR/ER matters.
- Sound knowledge of relevant ER legislation within different jurisdictions and its application in policy.
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated capacity to provide commercial, risk-managed initiatives to line managers and the business.
- Experience leading large teams in service delivery.
- Experience representing or advocating at the fair work commission.
- Tertiary qualifications in HR, ER, Employment Law, or a relevant field, and/or significant relevant experience.
