Job Role:

We are seeking a diligent and responsible individual to fill the position of a Cafe Assistant. As the face of our business, you will be interacting with customers, handling cash transactions, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all patrons
  • Operate the point-of-sale system, manage cash, and process payments efficiently
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization within the café premises
  • Prepare and serve beverages and food items, adhering to health and safety guidelines
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, including setting up and cleaning equipment
  • Develop a strong understanding of our menu offerings and make recommendations to customers
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales targets and provide outstanding customer experiences

Necessary Qualifications:

  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Previous experience in customer-facing roles or hospitality (desired)
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
  • Able to lift 20kg and stand for extended periods
  • Availability to work weekends and occasional evenings
