Senior Learning Technology Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Learning Technologist (Learning Environments) to join our team at Swinburne University. In this role, you will collaborate with educators across the university to provide development, enhancement, training, and support for our Higher and Vocational Education learning environments and related services.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the review of current learning environments to ensure optimal functionality and user experience.
- Pilot new delivery modes and evaluate their effectiveness in enhancing teaching and learning.
- Develop and deliver training resources to support staff in utilizing learning technologies.
- Provide expert advice and coordination on teaching materials and technologies to enhance face-to-face delivery in alignment with Swinburne's Learning and Teaching strategic goals.
About You
To be suitable for this role, you will need to have experience in the following key areas:
- Demonstrated experience in working with Learning Management Systems (LMS's), learning software, and learning equipment used in rooms.
- Commitment to and experience in technology-enhanced learning and teaching in tertiary education (higher education and/or pathways and vocational education).
- Ability to train and support academic and teaching staff in the use of in-room learning hardware and technologies for blended and active learning.
- Ability to liaise with staff across the university and externally to diagnose issues and support the embedding of technology in learning and teaching.
Qualifications
Relevant degree and/or relevant experience in the areas of technology-enhanced learning.
