Senior Infrastructure Maintenance Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and work alongside a small team to execute assigned maintenance tasks on Council's civil infrastructure assets. As a Senior Infrastructure Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for identifying and allocating necessary resources/materials for task completion, detecting defect causes in assets and proposing effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure the safety and functionality of our community's infrastructure.
  • Identify and allocate necessary resources/materials for task completion.
  • Conduct regular inspections to detect defect causes in assets and propose effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to update and manage work orders and administrative tasks.
  • Perform general labouring duties including removal of debris, fixing and replacing signs, and addressing traffic island defects.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in civil infrastructure maintenance with a strong understanding of maintenance procedures.
  • Effective leadership and coordination skills with the ability to motivate and guide a small team.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to perform manual tasks in a safety-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency with relevant technology including software applications and digital tools.
  • Capability to handle basic administrative duties including data entry and record-keeping.
  • Current truck licence (minimum medium rigid - MR) and Construction Induction card.
  • Traffic Management Implementation licence and High Risk Work Dogging (HRW DG) licence.
  • Certificate III in Civil Construction or a similar qualification in a relevant field.
