Job Title: Enterprise Technology Strategist

We are seeking a strategic and dynamic technology leader to shape and lead the strategy, governance, and performance of our application ecosystem.

About the Role:
  • Lead the End-to-End Application Lifecycle: Ensure platforms are secure, scalable, and well-managed from acquisition to retirement.
  • Drive Digital Transformation: Drive the modernisation of our application ecosystem, ensuring vendors and internal teams deliver exceptional support that aligns with our operational requirements.
  • Build Strong Relationships: Act as a trusted advisor to clinical, operational, and corporate stakeholders, ensuring applications support our broader healthcare objectives.
  • Mentor a High-Performing Team: Guide and mentor a team of application specialists, product managers, and service managers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in managing an IT Applications Services department, including in a SaaS/Web-based systems environment.
  • Strong Knowledge: Strong knowledge of business processes in hospital environments and deep understanding of cloud service offerings, SaaS, and digital web and mobile applications.
  • Demonstrated Skills: Demonstrated experience engaging and influencing stakeholders at senior levels, with exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Tertiary Qualification: Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, or a relevant field.
