Wall And Floor Decorator

We are seeking a highly skilled Tradesperson to fill a position as a Wall and Floor Decorator.
- Cut and shape tile to fit around obstacles and into odd spaces and corners, using hand and power cutting tools;
- Mix, apply, and spread plaster, concrete, mortar, cement, mastic, glue or other adhesives to form a bed for the tiles, using brush, trowel and screed;
- Study blueprints and examine surface to be covered to determine amount of material needed;
- Cleaning off excess grout and conducting post-installation inspections;
- Create decorative wall and floor designs by laying and setting mosaic tiles in kitchens, bathrooms and living rooms;
- Align tiles and straighten them with straightedges, levels and squares to ensure patterns are even and precise;
- Follow established health and safety protocols.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the trade;
- Physically fit and capable of standing for long periods;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Excellent knowledge of building and construction procedures;
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently;
- Capacity to work without close supervision.
Note: The ability to deliver high-quality work under pressure is essential. A proven track record of meeting deadlines and achieving targets is required.
