**Job Opportunity:**

We are seeking a skilled Tiler to join our team.

The successful candidate will be able to work independently, demonstrating reliability and accuracy in their work.

The Role:

As our Tiler, you will lay ceramic, slate, marble, and glass tiles on internal and external walls and floors using glues, grout, and cement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect interior surfaces for tiling requirements
  • Provide detailed estimates for tile quantity, installation time, and costs
  • Clean walls and floors prior to tiling to ensure a smooth finish
  • Remove old grout and cement from surfaces, preparing them for new tile installation
  • Fill gaps, cracks, and holes in floors and walls with the necessary materials
  • Level uneven walls, floors, and other surfaces with plaster to create a stable base for tiling
  • Apply adhesive to ready surfaces and tiles, then set tiles in position
  • Ensure proper spacing and alignment of floor and wall tiles for a professional finish
  • Lay coloured tiles in patterns to create eye-catching mosaics, enhancing the aesthetic appeal of a space
  • Lay terrazzo, cement, or granolithic flooring, offering a durable and low-maintenance solution

Requirements/Skills Qualification:**

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a related field, preferably 3 years
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective collaboration
  • Accuracy and speed in executing tasks, with attention to detail and precision
  • Familiarity with industry best practices, staying up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies
