Personal Care Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Attendant to join our team at Aveo's Albany Creek Retirement Village. As a Personal Care Attendant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality daily care services to our residents, promoting their independence and well-being.
About the RoleThis is a permanent part-time position working a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends. You will be responsible for providing safe and effective daily personal care, tailored to the resident's care needs in line with their current care plans. You will also assist residents with tasks such as medical and personal support, domestic cleaning, and general admin duties.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality daily personal care services to residents, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Assist residents with tasks such as medical and personal support, domestic cleaning, and general admin duties.
- Support residents with recreational and social activities.
- Follow all Aveo OH&S policies and procedures and report any safety, security, and resident incidents.
- Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability, or Health Services Assistance.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
- Current Police Check clearance.
- Current COVID-19 vaccinations up to date.
