Maintenance Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced electrical service technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for complicated electromechanical work and be looking for a challenging role in a heavy industrial setting.

The successful applicant will be responsible for performing crucial testing, diagnostics, and service work on large-scale maintenance projects at major power stations across Australia and PNG. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys travelling and working in new locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Field Service: Identify and solve technical problems on-site.
  • Team Development: Coach and mentor junior technicians.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve equipment failures, recommending corrections.
  • Work Execution: Plan and complete tasks efficiently and to high standards.
  • Technical Support: Provide expert guidance to both staff and customers.
  • Resource Management: Prepare material lists and ensure parts availability.
  • Documentation: Complete and submit customer reports promptly.
  • Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety rules and environmental responsibilities.
  • Customer Focus: Enhance satisfaction through superior service and identify improvements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with customers and internal teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Evidence of Electrical Fitter License and Driver's License.
  • Working at height and confined spaces tickets highly regarded.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness for FIFO (Fly-In / Fly-Out) and significant national/international travel.
