Job Title: Marketing Officer

The successful candidate will play a key role in the development and execution of marketing strategies to promote the Institute's programs and services. They will work collaboratively with stakeholders to provide timely and professional administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinating Workflows: Assist with coordinating stakeholder requests to ensure effective delivery of critical marketing activities and programs across the Institute.
  • Marketing Support: Facilitate functions requiring supporting such as marketing research and promotional activities, ensuring alignment with the Institute's goals and objectives.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Liaise and follow up with relevant internal and external stakeholders on marketing requests, maintaining strong relationships and communication channels.
  • Calendar Management: Update and maintain the annual William Angliss Institute marketing workflow calendar, ensuring accurate and timely information.
  • Event Participation: Advocate and participate in marketing activities, events, and programs, e.g., student recruitment events, Future Student expos, and Ministerial visits.
  • Social Media Monitoring: Monitor social media and other public-facing digital platforms for accuracy and compliance, ensuring the Institute's online presence is professional and consistent.
  • Graphic Design Support: Assist in basic graphic design, contributing to the creation of visual content that aligns with the Institute's brand identity.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree or Diploma: A relevant degree or diploma with little or no relevant work experience, or a suitable combination of lesser qualifications and relevant experience (ideally marketing or similar discipline).
  • Administration Experience: Demonstrated experience in an administration role (ideally within an education setting), involving the coordination of a range of functions.
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills (both verbal and written), with a proven record of customer-focused outcomes.
  • Attention to Detail: A high level of attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Computer Proficiency: Demonstrated computer skills and proficiency in the Microsoft suite, with experience using student management systems (specifically Technology One Student Management) and/or electronic direct mail software desirable.
