Job Title: Kitchen Attendant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Attendant to join our team at Sofitel. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen areas, ensuring that all food preparation and storage areas are clean and sanitized.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Action cleaning duties within the kitchen, food preparation areas, and scullery.
  • Maintain cleanliness of pantry, fridges, and freezers.
  • Assist in the preparation of food as directed by our senior chefs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and rotation of stock in pantry, fridge, and freezers.
  • Assist with the receiving and storing of stock.
  • Ensure all kitchens are kept clean and tidy.

Requirements:

  • Service-oriented with an eye for detail.
  • Able to work independently with demonstrated initiative in a dynamic environment.
  • Self-motivated and energetic.
  • Flexible to work a rotating roster of morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts.
