Job Title: Kitchen Attendant

At Sofitel, we're looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Kitchen Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and food preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Action cleaning duties within the kitchen, food preparation areas, and scullery to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of pantry, fridges, and freezers to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food quality.
  • Assist senior chefs in food preparation, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Rotate stock in pantry, fridge, and freezers to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
  • Assist with receiving and storing stock, verifying quantities and quality.
  • Ensure all kitchen areas are kept clean and tidy, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Service-oriented with an eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Able to work independently with demonstrated initiative in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and energetic, with a flexible attitude towards rotating shifts.
