Job Title: Kitchen Attendant

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Attendant to join our team at Sofitel. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring that all food safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Action cleaning duties within the kitchen, food preparation areas, and scullery.
  • Maintain cleanliness of pantry, fridges, and freezers.
  • Assist in the preparation of food as directed by our senior chefs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and rotation of stock in pantry, fridge, and freezers.
  • Assist with the receiving and storing of stock.
  • Ensure all kitchens are kept clean and tidy.

Requirements:

  • Service-oriented with an eye for detail.
  • Able to work independently with demonstrated initiative in a dynamic environment.
  • Self-motivated and energetic.
  • Flexible to work a rotating roster of morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts.
