About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and supportive Caregiver to join our team at Bupa Woodend. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in delivering person-first care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with the delivery and administration of medication, as required.
  • Maintain accurate health care documentation, including resident care plans and progress notes.
  • Encourage residents to participate in scheduled social activities, promoting a sense of community and belonging.
  • Build relationships with residents and their families, providing emotional support and guidance.
  • Adhere to workplace health and safety guidelines and policies, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Cert III in an Aged Care or relevant qualification.
  • Previous aged care experience is highly regarded, but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Flexible availability for a variety of shifts throughout the week.
