We're on the lookout for an exceptional Senior Application Security Engineer to join our Security Assurance Team. In this pivotal role, you'll blend technical expertise with interpersonal skills to ensure our software development processes are both sophisticated and secure.

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with our Red-team, utilizing tools like static code analysis and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) to fortify our digital defences. This includes identifying and addressing potential security risks through comprehensive reviews of application codes.

A successful Security engineer at TPG Telecom maintains close relationships with colleagues across departments, fostering friendly working environments and demonstrating a willingness to ask questions. You will achieve this through empathy and integrity, as these qualities are crucial to success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough examinations of application codes to uncover and address potential security threats
  • Harness the power of static code analysis and DAST to provide detailed evaluations of code quality
  • Work seamlessly with our Red team to integrate their insights and strengthen our digital defences
  • Ensure unwavering adherence to our Software Security Development Life Cycle (SSDLC)
  • Guide development teams in adopting a culture of security-conscious development and continuous growth
  • Maintain a deep understanding of contemporary security trends, vulnerabilities, and protective measures
  • Apply a nuanced understanding of risk to inform evaluations and prioritize vulnerabilities effectively
  • Foster an inclusive environment that promotes mutual respect, collaboration, and continuous learning

Salary Information: The estimated salary for this role is between $140,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience. This amount may vary based on individual qualifications and performance.
