About the Role

The Head of Enterprise Services Application & Architecture will provide strategic leadership, technical expertise, and deep experience in running and optimizing applications related to our Group Services and heritage ME Bank operations. This role requires at least 15+ years of experience with a proven track record in running, architecting, migrating, and implementing transformation in the Enterprise domain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage application platforms ensuring seamless integration, performance, and security aligning with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee design, development, and maintenance of application platforms ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.
  • Ensure lifecycle management of applications including upgrades, patching, and decommissioning.

Architecture Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and maintain medium and long-term architecture vision and roadmap for Enterprise Services domain applications and systems.
  • Collaborate with executive teams and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into next-generation technical requirements and architectural designs.
  • Establish and communicate architectural guidelines, principles, and best practices ensuring consistent and standardized solutions.

ERP & Group Services Systems Design:

  • Lead the design and evaluation of Group Services systems, including general ledger, human resources, risk management, and regulatory reporting platforms.
  • Analyze existing systems to identify opportunities for improvement, system consolidation, decommissioning, and optimization of processes.

Technology Innovation:

  • Stay abreast of the latest technology trends, industry standards, and emerging innovations in the banking sector.
  • Champion the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and best practices to enhance banking capabilities and user experience.

Security and Compliance:

  • Ensure architecture of Group Services systems complies with relevant security standards, data protection regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with security and compliance teams to identify and mitigate potential risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive data and prevent breaches.
