Infrastructure Maintenance Specialist
Roads and Drains Vac Truck Operators are integral to maintaining our community's infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to ongoing improvement in road infrastructure maintenance, focusing on delivering high-quality services while operating complex equipment safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate vac trucks, easement reels, and other relevant vehicles, plant, and hand-held or motorized equipment.
- Deliver exceptional services in all maintenance activities performed.
- Maintain and effectively utilize tablets and IT systems.
- Provide excellent customer service skills and leadership abilities to train and mentor others.
The successful candidate will be required to hold a current Victorian driver's license with a heavy rigid endorsement, as well as demonstrate experience driving heavy rigid vehicles and proficiency in safe operation, maintenance, and use of relevant equipment.
Requirements:- Current Victorian driver's license with heavy rigid endorsement.
- Proven experience in driving heavy rigid vehicles and demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
- Able to meet the physical requirements of the position and work independently without supervision.
- Working with children check.
- Traffic Control.
