About The Role

We currently seeking a Combo Jet/Vac Truck Operator to join our rapidly growing team in Ballarat, Victoria. Within this role you will be responsible for the effective use and operation of vehicles and equipment whilst providing quality customer service and maintaining an excellent working relationship with the client's site representative/s.

Working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, your key responsibilities will include:

Perform Drain Cleaning, Non-Destructive Digging and Stormwater Asset cleaning tasks

Daily pre-start and maintenance of vehicles and equipment to ensure compliance and good working condition

Promote a safe work environment by following proper safety protocols and using appropriate PPE

Complete projects as directed with the ability to deal with a diverse range of people effectively and provide excellent customer service

Maintain the current standard of work and strive for continuous improvement of the quality of our services

Good communication skills – able to keep others updated when working on your own, report issues clearly, and follow instructions without needing constant supervision.

About You

To be successful for this role, you will have:

Current HR licence (essential)

Valid White (essential)

High pressure water experience (essential)

Experience with vacuum loading, drain cleaning, hydro excavation or working around sewer/water networks (preferred)

Ability to work safely on construction and civil sites

Strong focus on customer service and teamwork

Comfortable working closely with water authorities and councils on projects

Confined Space and Working at Heights Tickets preferred but not essential

Previous waste industry experience will be highly regarded, but not essential

Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and national Police clearance
