Cleansing Services Officer - Afternoon Shift

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cleansing Services Officer to join our team. As a key member of our operational team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of Parramatta's public domain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify illegal dumping sites, litter picking hotspots, pressure washing areas, amenities, and BBQ cleaning locations within the public domain.
  • Undertake a range of tasks required for the successful completion of the functions of the Cleansing Services team to ensure the long-term management, condition, and usability of assets and facilities under their care.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the public domain and assets to minimize Council's exposure to liability.

We require someone with:

  • A current NSW 'C' Class Driver's License
  • A White Card
  • Previous experience working in an operational role
  • The capacity to undertake the physical requirements of the role
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to work independently

We offer an attractive remuneration package from $65,814 to $72,473 per year, plus 12% Superannuation. This position also attracts allowances in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2023.
