**Job Description:**

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Private Client Adviser. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual to provide expert guidance on estate and succession planning, leveraging their technical knowledge in private client matters.

This is a key position within our National Private Client Advisory team, requiring the successful candidate to possess exceptional client relationship management skills, strong leadership abilities, and a proven track record in business development. The ideal candidate will be capable of demonstrating expertise in complex wills, lifetime trusts, deeds of variation, powers of attorney, and estate administration, with a deep understanding of lifetime IHT planning and taxation of trusts and estates.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Advise high net worth individuals and families on the legal and tax aspects of estate and succession planning.
  • Lead on the growth of the private client offering in the North East, collaborating with colleagues in the National Private Client team.
  • Provide expertise in private client matters, including complex wills, lifetime trusts, deeds of variation, powers of attorney, and estate administration.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Technically strong in Private Client matters, with a focus on estate and succession planning.
  • STEP qualified, with a solid understanding of financial disciplines and the ability to work collaboratively with other teams and external professionals.
