Key Responsibilities:
  • To design, execute, and deliver comprehensive stress tests for Institutional Banking & Markets (IB&M) businesses, including annual APRA and Group stress tests, as well as industry/portfolio level stress tests.
  • To contribute to the development, creation, and enhancement of fit-for-purpose stress test models for different levels of stress tests.
  • To generate accurate credit risk forecasts under various stress scenarios for Commonwealth Bank of Australia's non-retail portfolios.
  • To embed CBA's non-retail portfolio credit risk stress testing capabilities, supporting the bank's ability to effectively manage credit risk across their non-retail portfolios.
  • To conduct ad-hoc credit risk analysis to support review and challenge of credit risk estimates/forecasts.

For this role, we are looking for individuals with advanced knowledge and experience in data analytics, utilizing tools such as R, Python or SAS. Strong communication skills and understanding of credit risk management, risk concepts/process and regulation are also essential. A tertiary qualification in Finance, Economics, Technology or Quantitative discipline would be advantageous.
