We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the Risk Management Framework across our Private Wealth Management business.
This role ensures that our PWM business operates within the legal and regulatory framework, effectively manages risks, and embeds compliance into business processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate risk management activities across assigned business units;
- Contribute to the implementation of PWM's Risk Management Framework, including relevant programs, systems, tools, and policies;
- Support the delivery of the Risk Management team strategy;
- Assist in license management;
- Help develop and implement compliance policies and procedures;
- Support the implementation of controls in collaboration with relevant teams;
- Contribute to risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies;
- Support reporting to senior management, boards, and committees.
- A degree in law, finance, business, or accounting (or equivalent);
- 5 years' experience in risk management roles and/or relevant business roles;
- Working knowledge and understanding of financial services and accounting businesses;
- Financial services experience essential and exposure to the operational aspects of Financial Advice and Accountancy well regarded;
- Strong stakeholder and people management skills;
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills, including confidence in communicating with senior stakeholders;
- Results-oriented with a desire to deliver innovative solutions.
