About the Role

As an Electrical Systems Design Engineer, you will work with a specialist electrical engineering and project management company to create detailed electrical and control system designs. You will engage with clients on-site to collect data and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement control systems based on project requirements
  • Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to guarantee smooth integration of control systems
  • Conduct testing, diagnose issues, and debug systems to ensure operational efficiency and reliability
  • Conduct regular maintenance and updates to control systems when required

Essential Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering with RPEQ or eligibility to obtain
  • Experience with multiple PLC programs, such as Rockwell, Scheider, etc
  • Experience with SCADA systems, including design and implementation
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Previous experience working on mining projects and understanding of Australian standards
