Role: Senior Biometrician for Advanced Plant Phenotyping
About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced biometrician to provide leadership in statistical analysis and consulting activities, leveraging their expertise to advance agricultural research in Australia.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-level statistical support to projects, including experimental design, data modelling, and result dissemination through reports and publications
- Identify opportunities for enhanced statistical analytics, incorporating climate and environmental data
- Develop and implement best practices for phenotyping biometric analytics across our network
- Conduct workshops and training sessions to harmonize approaches and foster collaboration
- Demonstrated proficiency in applying statistical methods, particularly with high-throughput phenotyping datasets
- Experience in using R software packages for longitudinal data analysis and visualization
- Proven interpersonal skills for effective collaboration within multi-disciplinary teams
- A strong publication record showcasing statistical methodology and application
