About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Phenotyping Biometrician to join our team and lead statistical analysis methods within our central office and across facilities. This role will advance our capacity to measure novel traits in various environments by implementing best practices and developing new analytical approaches.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in biometry and statistics, with experience working with high-throughput phenotyping data and R software for longitudinal data analysis and visualization.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative network with advanced phenotyping infrastructure and contribute to impactful research within a national project.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Phenotyping Biometrician will be responsible for:

  • Leading statistical research and consulting for the central office
  • Proposing enhancements for deployment across the network based on research trends
  • Supporting projects with experimental design, statistical modeling, and reporting for publication
  • Exploring opportunities for multi-dimensional analytics linking climate and environmental data
  • Building a community of practice across APPN nodes
  • Conducting workshops and training on biometric analytics
Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this role, you will need:

Postgraduate qualifications in Biometry, Statistics, or related fields, with extensive relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
