Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Rail Engineer to play a key role in delivering major infrastructure projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical design input, coordination, and project delivery activities across major rail projects; leading and contributing to bid preparation and providing technical input across all rail disciplines; demonstrating high-level project management skills while accomplishing project deliverables to the required standard and in a timely manner; actively contributing to the commercial success of projects and the team.

Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must have:

  • At least 15 years of industry experience in project management or design management of rail infrastructure across civil or structural disciplines;
  • Proven experience of managing project and design delivery across multiple projects;
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills;
  • High-level consulting and client management skills;
  • Tertiary qualification/engineering degree;
  • Certified Professional Engineer or on their way to attaining;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within a culturally diverse and multi-disciplinary environment.
