About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Fitter (mechanical) to join our maintenance team at InfraBuild Wire in Mayfield. The operational team is highly safety-focused and process-driven, with a positive team culture. This role offers on-the-job training for any knowledge gaps with permanent and stable employment, predominantly on a rotating shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Execution of preventative maintenance tasks
- Breakdowns, fault finding, and troubleshooting
- Overhauling fixed plant and operational equipment
- Providing feedback via the maintenance management system
- Compliance with quality and safety processes to complete all tasks
Requirements
- Certificate III Mechanical Trade certificate is essential
- Demonstrated experience overhauling fixed plant equipment
- Hydraulics and Pneumatics or post-trade certificates
- SAP exposure, effective verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong safety focus, can-do attitude
- Excellent fault finding and troubleshooting skills
- Forklift, and EWP tickets are highly regarded
