Job Overview:
The Senior Financial Business Partner is a pivotal role that requires strategic financial acumen to drive business growth and success. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert financial guidance to inform business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to deliver objective and accurate financial advice that supports informed decision-making;
- Financial Planning: Develop and monitor timely and accurate financial results and key performance indicators to support management in their operational responsibilities;
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of annual operating plans for the directorate;
- Financial Modelling: Design and implement financial models to support new initiatives.
Requirements:
- Educational Qualifications: A degree in a business-related field from a tertiary education institution;
- Professional Certifications: Preferably qualified as a certified practising accountant or chartered accountant;
- Industry Experience: Public health experience is an advantage;
- Technical Skills: Advanced computer skills with proficiency in Excel;
- Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with key public health tools including IHACPA Publications, Technical Calculations, Policy and Funding Guidelines, Public Health Enterprise Bargaining Agreements, and the Safe Patient Care Act.
