Care Support Worker We are seeking a skilled Care Support Worker to join our team. This role involves providing in-home care and support to individuals with mental health conditions and challenging behaviors. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily tasks, such as meal preparation, personal care, and administering medication. You will also support participants with domestic duties around the home and enable them to engage and participate in their community. About the Role As a Care Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients. This may involve helping with daily living tasks, supporting participants with domestic duties, and enabling them to engage in their community. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including meal preparation, personal care, and administering medication
  • Support participants with domestic duties around the home
  • Enable participants to engage and participate in their community
Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 1 year's experience working in the disability sector. You should have a strong understanding of disability support principles and be able to communicate effectively with clients and staff. A Certificate III Disability or higher is also required. In addition, you will need to be highly organized, proactive, and possess good communication skills.
