Job Title: Support Care Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Support Care Worker to join our team at our state-of-the-art aged care residence. As a Support Care Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care services to our residents.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for providing personal care to residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met in a safe and effective manner. This includes assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and toileting, as well as providing emotional support and companionship.

In addition to providing direct care, you will also contribute to the overall quality of life for our residents by engaging them in activities, encouraging social interaction, and promoting a sense of community.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to work effectively as part of a team. You will also need to be committed to delivering an exceptional level of service and be passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of our residents.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

We are looking for a Support Care Worker who has:

  • a Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Aged Care)
  • demonstrated knowledge and skills in contemporary aged care services
  • sound understanding and commitment to person-centred care
  • ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • experience working in aged care is highly regarded but not essential
